Rusty's Control Arms - JL/JT Front Heavy Duty Lower Frame Side Mounts

Rustys Offroad JL/JT Front Heavy Duty Lower Frame Side Mounts are laser cut 3/8" and 1/4" inch formed steel and are welded together ready for installation. We have used a locating pin in the brackets to locate the new Rusty's brackets to the frame. This takes the guess work out of locating it on the frame or reading a tape measure wrong. Built beefy enough to last many years of hard core wheeling dragging the Jeep over the rough terrain of Moab, Rubicon, Texas or the trails of Windrock. Check your lower control arm mounts out, you too may find out how bad beat up yours are, now there is a solution for this problem. More replacement xtreme duty mounts coming soon.

If you really wheel your JL Wrangler and it has been bashed on a few rocks, drug on some red rock at Moab or slid down the granite rocks in Texas, take a look at you front lower control arm mounts!
After going numerous trips to the Texas Hill Country, Moab and Windrock, I was inspecting my JL and found that my lower control arm mounts had been litterly ground down and could have took the right blow and I might have had an issue.
We have also seen many people using "control arm drop brackets" instead of buying adjustable control arms, these "drop" brackets put a huge amount of leverage on the factory mount , that was never intended for this and as in the last 2 photo's you can see a good wheeling trip go bad real quick! This shows you want to use a quality adjustable control arm to correct castor when the vehicle is lifted and no these drop brackets.
